Allah’luia: End of the World Postponed, and my Birth Day and Jesus’ Pre-paired!
“It’s not that I’m afraid to die. I just don’t want to be there when it happens.” This sarcastic quote from Woody Allen is the same answer I give to one of my Facebook friends who dropped one rumour bomb into my chatbox the other day,
“You are the next to be assassinated?” (said Wen de Madyt?)
When I asked why amidst varied reactions from my worried friends around, he quit! But what keeps me still scavenging in Juba after such scaremongering series of serious dooms-say on my doomsday, which is the order of the day from my relatives, including one negative relative, and my friends, including my fiends, is summed up by Patrick Moore in one of the books that I read and quote thus:
“At my age I do what Mark Twain did. I get my daily paper, look at the obituaries page and if I’m not there, I carry on as usual.”
Indeed, this evening, my ears were jammed with mob news from everywhere but the championing three are these:
1- PRESS RELEASE FROM UNMISS: UNMISS Chopper crashes in Yau-Yau village (Vertim two hours ago):
“A United Nations Mission in South Sudan helicopter crashed today near the settlement of Likuangole in the eastern state of Jonglei.
The tragedy has claimed the lives of the four crew members.
The Mission extends its heartfelt condolences to the families of the crew.
The helicopter was not carrying any passengers.
An investigation has commenced to establish the circumstances around the crash.”
2- PRESS RELEASE FROM MAYAN CALENDAR (Apocalypse Tonight: 21-12-12 No More!)
And my reaction dates back to my own poem book (coming soon), requesting the creator to:
*
(Poem V)
*
Add Me More Days
If I could,
O Lord of life,
request you
to lend me alive
some few more days,
for some free mere says;
Since a day
means a poem,
a day a point,
a day a posit,
a day a post,
in my lifetime;
Please, let me borrow
a thousand more days
from the age
booked for me
either in hell
or in heaven;
To write
a thousand more poems,
a thousand more points;
to put right
a thousand more minds,
a thousand more souls.

And (Poem IV) and to also:
*
O let me see that day!
When politicians often say,
The end justifies the means,
I say, does it justify the ruins?
O Good Lord of Lords,
Lo! I’m among the hordes;
Struggling to survive I dare,
But will I really reach there?
O dear, let me see that day.

3– PRESS RELEASE: John Penn’s Birth Day paired to Jesus Christ’s!
And should you mis/read my mind and mis/lead yourself that I rescheduled my birthday to Christmas because I wanted to dodge shopping and benefit from the Christmas free food and drinks, so be it! So be ready to eat!
As if the Austerity Authority was appointed to have us disappointed this outgoing year! That is why I strictly abbreviate this season a X-mas for reason other than Christ’s mass season. It is a season supposed to be axed (X’ed) or cancelled. And I don’t want to be counseled but just consoled in matters to do with our money masters. Almost the same reason that made me wrote this Prayerful request in December 2010:
PRAYERFUL Apology:
Your Excellency, Emma J. Christ, Undersecretary of the Republic of the Universe, please, forgive us this blasphemy. But we are hereby requesting your heavenly authority that you speed up for us the remaining two weeks, including skipping your Birthday (today), mine (I did yesterday) and the Jallaba’s (1-1-11), just for the sake of our freedom, including that of worship, which Bashir has replaced — and still wants to replace – with freedom of warship. And if you insist that Christmas is a Christ Must, hence Sacrosant and Sacred, then please allow me shut down my PC now and head for a trip to celebrate it with Emma Jr. in Kabakaland (Kampala), BUT ON CONDITION THAT YOU JOIN US ON JANUARY 9! AMEN?
Therefore, before the end of the world tonight, and now that the Maya Apocalyptic calendar has failed to cancel my birthday by happening exactly as ‘prophesized’ onto December 21, 2012 (5 minutes to go in Juba but already gone elsewhere according to Aljazeera right now!), allow me to ask my son’s namesake, who postponed Apocalypse, Emmanuel Chris (Christ) to let me merge our birth dates – not birth days. Yea dea, by pairing up our days which are just a day, or two, apart (December 22 and 25), I would execute an excuse that made me postponed Christmas Day last year. However, the prayerful letter of this year (2012) is again from the book that was mock-launched on my D-Day: 12-12-12 at Kush Resort, in which I beg Dr. Untimely to come:
*
Later in the halfternoon
(Poem 41)
Dear Dr. Untimely.
Please, read this letter not in the night or the noon,
Neither should you read it by the light of the moon.
I’ve recognized your appointment,
But then realized that it’s a disappointment,
Because it will make my people mourn.
Of course, I am in my life’s morn.
Just as early as now,
I have to let you know
That I am still very busy:
First, I have to marry Sussie,
And then love and live.
Second, I have to relieve
My mind of all this national load,
Before I hit your natural road.
So I – still have a say
That – am not ready to meet you at midday,
Nor in my early afternoon.
Please, come after my late halfternoon.
*
And what kind of a person is this Dr. Untimely? His real and ideal name is traced to the back of the book, on:
*
Poem 286
Automagically!
Death is automagic,
For he switches man off unaware.
He is not automatic,
For I would switch him off if he were.
*
In conclusion, which is not the case with Death, the only cure is with God, whose son’s birth day, I aspire to share and pair up with mine, lest I expire! That is Death. So who and where the hell is God?
*
Poem 218
*
Godisnowhere: True or False?
If you think God is nowhere,
You’re blasphemously blind.
God is famously now here.
If you look for Him,
God is nowhere to be seen;
But He is now where to see:
To see you with Mr. X’s horny honey,
To see you with people’s only money,
To see you in and out with any phoney.
God is Omnipresent,
Omnipotent,
Omniscient.
Every man can’t see God.
Every man can seek God.
Everywhere, God can be got.
Seek Him before you see Him.
See Him before He seeks you.
Seek Him before you die:
To die is to dive
Into side B of life
And see God live.

Nice message bro J. Penn de Ngong. It’s objective, well-said, entertaining, inspiring, and educative. I like it. Keep on writing bro. Blessings from above.
